Skills :

  • General Microsoft Office Suite experience with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to write and edit content
  • Experience in the online marketing space, with an understanding of search engines, search engine optimization, web analytics, and factors that influence high rankings in Google and Bing
  • Familiarity with keyword research tools and analytics tools such as Google Keyword Tools, Google Insights for Search, and/or Google Analytics
  • The ability to use logic to identify strengths, weaknesses and solutions
  • Demonstrated aptitude and ability to quickly adapt to change, willingness to try new marketing tactics, and ability to report results
  • The motivation to work as a team player but also independently on projects with minimal supervision
  • Qualities such as dependability, reliability, initiative, a positive attitude toward the job
  • Familiarity or direct experience in the field of SEO (strongly preferred)
  • Experience working with databases for reporting purposes (preferred)
  • Experience in HTML (preferred)
  • Excellent written English
  • The ability to stay highly organized with great attention to detail and be deadline oriented
  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
Job Description :
  • Setting up web sites for new acquisitions and developments with specific emphasis on establishing strong Search Engine Optimization practices at closing
  • Creating customized and targeted landing pages
  • Implementing on-page and off-page SEO techniques, including keyword research, site speed optimization, meta tag optimization, information architecture, competitive SERP analysis and other duties that are assigned
  • Reviewing blog content for alignment with Weidner brand, and values, grammar, and relevant keywords
  • Executing other SEO strategies for desktop, mobile and tablet search results, as assigned by Digital Marketing Manager
  • Maintaining accuracy of the Weidner website by expanding on, correcting and optimizing all written content via the content management system, including descriptions of the community, photos and floor plans
  • Attending all Marketing meetings and participate in creating new ideas, strategies and concepts
  • Must be enrolled in a degree program: Bachelor Degree in English, Computer Science, Marketing or related field, experience is preferred
Qualifications :

  • Some understanding of or experience with SEO and web analytics (including Google Analytics) preferred
  • Highly proficient in Excel; proficient in MS Word and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills, with close attention to detail and process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
